"Re-digging the 'old well' of revival"

In the early 1930's, evangelist Helen Jepsen, a former dancehall entertainer radically saved by Jesus Christ, led revival meetings in the old Clarkfield town hall long since torn down.  An independent church, the Full Gospel Tabernacle, was birthed in that early revival as the power of God poured out in the meetings in the town hall upon the people who came from miles and miles around to receive a touch from God.  People were saved, delivered, and healed.

In the first several years of Fire on the Prairie, God's mandate to the worship team Joshua Generation was to re-dig this "old well" of revival and restore the "tabernacle".  The power of God began to manifest immediately when Joshua Generation held their first meetings beginning in January 1999.  Although Joshua Generation has since disbanded, we continue to return by divine appointment to the Clarkfield City Hall near the original site of the first outpouring as we anticipate history beginning to repeat itself once again.  Praise and worship is still the focus of FOTP, sometimes with live worship, sometimes with CD's, always lifting high the name of Jesus.

In his book, Digging the Wells of Revival, pastor and revivalist Lou Engle speaks of old wells of revival being re-dug (Isaac reopening the wells in Gen. 26:18) and cleared out first. He writes:  "Because of the great difficulty...it was preferable to redig a previous well than to start anew" (p. 18).  "So, before you begin digging a new well, try to reopen an old well...." (p. 27).

We invite you to partner with us as we continue to exalt the King of Kings, through extravagant and radically scriptural intercessory praise, worship and prayer, asking God to clear out the debris of this "old well" and allow the "living water" to gush forth throughout this entire region.
